Your current uploads remain untouched. Files already in your account won’t be removed. Moving forward, any new uploads that exceed the free storage limit will require a premium upgrade, in order to use the account as usual.

I wouldn't be averse to buying a premium account. However, since crypto is too risky for me, I will probably have to limit my activities here in the future.

We did not change or delete anything ever, there is simply a limit of showing visibly 1000 albums, just change the sorting to oldest modified and you will see albums from year 2019, check this Link

Can we assume, to stay under the limit of our plan, that we can delete our older albums clearing up space to add new ones? I assume that is what many have done seeing that there are many accounts with thousands of ranking points and zero or little content.
