Can't upload with Safari on Mac OS X 10.5.6. It starts like this...
 But the dialog box looks like this; i.e., grayed out. Strangely, I was able to upload *these* images; i.e., in the Forum. But not in the main interface.  Thanks, takeTwo BTW, below is one of the images that I was trying to upload. This proves it is not a Safari problem since I've now uploaded 3 images from my Mac ; ) and the particular images are fine.
