Besides, at the album view, the thumb pic still gets resized to 4:3... but I guess this is pretty unimportant. I just wanted to mention it.

Here's a test pic of the album view, I created two thumbnails of a the same movie with Media Player Classic.
Left one has 8 colums, 2 rows @ 1024x178 and gets vertically streched
Right one has 2 colums, 8 rows @ 1024x1810 and looks fine
