Regarding the second suggestion i need to think how to do it smart, since we already have way to much icons, I'll brainstorm on this, if you have ideas/suggestions, you are more then welcome to draw a good UI ideas
Thanks for your reply!

I *used to* develop sites YEARS ago so please have a laugh if my terms are out of date, but I think you will understand what I am describing here.

It seems like you have it very close, but that maybe one html element or css is superseding the other (others).

You are PARTIALLY correct: that link will lead to the indicated user in the cases when the "bell" announcement is a "follow"...but when the notification is announcing an upvote or a comment the entire cell leads to the post or photos which was/were upvoted or commented. If the user name IS actually linked in those cases then it is not available to the cursor through the GUI.

-or -

it seems the LAST LINK list inside the cell is the only active one. In my new composite screen cap you can see where the user UPVOTED a photo that both the user name and the photo are blue as if they are links, but clicking anywhere in the cell always results in linking to the photo, never the user.

I do hope this is a help, and again I have to say you are evolving into a really nice site and I am happy to be part of this community.
