(I'm just saying) If someone is just downvoting an occasional picture, they're probably just saying it's just not what revs their motor. AIrbrushed models don't really do it for me....everyone's different.
But.....but if someone slams you with 20 downvotes in a row (it's happened to me), that's probably them having a beef and just being a jerk about it. If I downvote, it's usually about the repeated posting of a brazilian prostitute or "exposed webslut" or a really, really bad photoshop....and I'll try to make a comment explaining the down vote ("Post all the pics and move on...").
I also will visit a downvoter's albums and upvote some (many) of their pictures...a show of goodwill, maybe. And if it is a 'jerk', I'll out them in the comments ("Have to wonder why _________ would down vote this....?"). I don't advocate that because sometimes, it just pisses the downvoter.
Bottom line: It's all about having fun and feeling good here. Some of us get off on the pics.....some get off complaining about pics....and some get off on repeatedly posting pics...
