This Image was Removed - WTF?
 

Still getting a LOT of this:

It's been happening for a number of weeks now. Any idea when it will be fixed? It is affecting other sites as well where things have been posted.

It's been happening to me and my friends too.
We are saving what we can to other sites, for safety.

Lost photos
 

I recently "lost" 1200 photos! Don't know how, don't know why. It happened during a period when there seemed to be one problem after another on the site. Then, one day, it seemed everything was repaired and suddenly hundreds and hundreds of those "removed" signs were all over my albums.

Why would it be dead? there is no "recent" image removals.

It`s only stuff you notice now but got removed long time ago due to copyright and so on...

please let us know if you see stuff you uploaded in last MONTH or so getting removed.

manually? automatically?

I've experienced the same thing as well, which is odd because I've used this host for a while. I mostly upload my own artwork so I'm not sure why it's a problem with copyright...:confused:

when did these things start to happen? was it while we had the issue last friday? can you post a link to the pages you see have missing images? we will investigate this asap

I'm not sure when it happened or if it was triggered by last Friday because I haven't upload any new image recently, but the old posts where I've had my old uploads suddenly have these labels instead of my images. I mostly post them on my locked art blog on LJ.

Oh, if this helps, here's a link to one of the 'removed' images.

I've replaced most of the broken images on other image host for now. Thank you for taking this issue into account. I've used many image hosts and this is by far the one I can rely on most. I hope this gets settled soon.
