Just wondering why.
I see that the way votes are tallied has changed. Now you can't see how many you need for the next level only every 100. must be a reason, because programmers don't make changes unless there is a problem, I was one once...LOL

Also, I was a project manager of a development group, and I agree can developers don't DELIBERATELY change anything at all. They only fulfill a specification, and usually break something ELSE in the process. If the change wasn't specifically requested then it is a "break" or "an added feature", depending on whether the sales team or the customer is first to catch the change! ;-) |
This change is Needless
The new way of tallying votes takes away the Enjoyment of posting and seeing the effect of your work posting, and it is working with no payment, The payment for work was the votes and how followers like what you do. That's gone now...Ps I hope management can make some changes so as to make it enjoyable again.

What did change please clarify more?
the only thing we removed is self upvoting, since people pumped their profiles by upvoting their own 1000s of images, and we wanted to remove that issue and make sure the content is upvoted by followers or people who like it and not the creator itself. |
I agree with that change. What I am talking about is not showing the individual points when a person votes on an album or image now it shows every 100 votes...

https://ist6-4.filesor.com/pimpandho...20-22.23_0.jpg At the top right it says 4.8K That represents 4,800 Points The next change appears at 4,900 that takes 200 votes if each vote is 0.5 there is no longer a way to see the effect of the voters. One example is 4,327 the #27 is no longer available the next visible change is at 4,400. The enjoyment of being a poster with followers is if they like what you are posting.
