Will Pimpandhost collapse like other pics hoster?
 

I have seen many pictures hosters go disappear, will this happen to pimpandhost?

Why would that happen to us? ;)

We have no plans to disappear we are online more then 3 years now...

and we plan on improving & growing but for sure not collapsing!

Do you have more creative suggestions? i`m always open to ideas.

I ask because in the past I have uploaded so many pictures to other sites and they disappeared without a reason, it is such a pain to me, wasted my time.

I guess they disappear because of high maintenance costs. That is why I ask if this applied to Pimandhost? If you guys have good revenue, then we no need to worry you guys disappear without a reason.

Don't worry chief , we are taking care of our self.

Just like those replying before me, I am also very concerned about what has happened in the last few days here at "Pimp" and I have good reasons too. I came here just a few weeks back after giving up posting for over a year because I had been burned by my previous 2 hosters. I have many many more pics/previews I would like to upload here, but after seeing the most recent problems unfolding, I will delay doing that until I see things getting back to normal again. Thanks "Pimp', as I have many words of encouragement for you and I will wait patiently for the results, while hoping for the best....SSmaster.

Things have been shitty due to pics slow / no loading, not display at the correct size and does affect my revenue.

But this site has some good features, good and clean user interface which other hosts do not have. With Pimp's assurance, I look forward to a better Pimpandhost, hopefully soon. Pimp, you have my support. :)

Same pics over and over
 

Recently I noticed someone is uploading the same thing over and over and over. Is that normal? I look at the pics and its the same pic on about 20 pages. Are they trying to screw things up? or is that normal?

This is the best image host site I've used to date. Good job. There have been problems, but they all get fixed at some point. I've paid for image host sites before, and they were terrible. This one is the best, no doubt.

Thanks for the great site! It's very user friendly and uploads quickly and reliably.
The one thing I'm curious about is the number of new untitled albums that are created ( I have 2,895 but only use 16. Doesn't this take up a lot of file space on the server?

Yes ofcourse, all the UNneeded albums please delete em, else they are just eating out server space ;)

Having previously lost many dozens of pictures when a previous hosting site expired, I have made a backup for some of the favourite pictures.
