New Pimpandhost Code In the testing.
 

Hey Guys, it took tons of time but we finally recoded the whole site to be way more optimised and way faster in all aspects. now the beta version is live and beeing tested.

I know we miss lots of stuff, we will add them 1 by 1 during the next few days.

For now we need your help & support in reporting problems/bugs and suggestions for fixes.

Well it looks like the "search" is well and truly not working. other than that I've not seen anything else as yet

The Search isn't finished yet , i hope by tomorrow we will finish it up.

There are a few errors so far.

I have no code links for my pics. Only the pics show up.

When I upload new pics they do not show up in my old album. I had to upload them in a new album.

I cannot organize my album to show the newest pics I just uploaded. The just show up randomly and I have to search for them. Kinda sucks when you have 1000's of pics.

All of these things makes my account useless. Hope you guys get everything up and running soon. Thank you.

Yes the "sorting" By Latest Uploaded gonna be fixed by tommorow so don`t worry.

Also noticed something else.

The links finally showed up on the pics. But when posting in forums the pics show up as thumbnails or too big. Unlike before they always showed up the same size they created.

Basically, the uploading process seems to work.

1) Then you can pick to put the uploaded pics to new folder or an existing.
BUT if you click one of the pics to look at it, or if you click on "Upload images" again (or something else), the pics are gone. No "Unsorted folder" yet ;)

2) Uploading to a new folder:
After typing a new folder name (like "test" in my case) and clicking the button "Move to new album", I get this (click to enlarge):

First, the pics appear vertically stretched. I can't pick the codes for single uploaded pics, only for the whole album, and only as medium thumbs. I have to return to the album menu, then I get this:

I can't enter the album by clicking on the "preview pic" of the album, since there's no pic selected yet. I have to enter by clicking on the button on the bottom left below the album and select one manually.

3) Viewing pics/getting codes
At "medium", smaller pics get bigger for some reason, while original is ok... example with a 720x304 pic:

Getting image codes by clicking on that blue html button, I always had to manually select the codes and hit CTRL+C to copy the code to the clipboard. The code doesn't get selected if you click in the box.

4) Uploading to an existing folder:
After picking an existing album and clicking "Move to existing album", see (2). No codes for the just uploaded pics, no way to get codes for single pics. I only can get the medium bb-code for thumbs of the whole album.

So here it would be cool to get:
Single codes (like if you're in an album with those small blue html buttons to get the code)
small/medium/original codes of the just uploaded pics (not just medium)
small/medium/original codes of the whole album



That's it for now.. I hope this helps, I need some sleep now :D

5) Uploading inside an album

After the uploading process, there's no overview screen like in 2) or 4)
I have to refresh the page, then the pics get displayed normally on the center/right side.


Again, concerning this overview screen, after uploading:
Maybe the last one is not needed (s/m/o codes of the whole album) for the overview screen. Instead, provide a "Back to my account"-button and a "Edit album albumname"-button. If you click the edit button you'll get the codes for the whole album there anyway.

Please Check now :)

We made it "auto" move the files to your album without you having to refresh.

Problems with coding?
 

The last few days my full images already in use at forums have turned into "thumbnails" instead of full images. And also now all of my latest images can never be displayed as full images (with the correct coding as before), they are still displayed as thumbnails. Are you working toward fixing this problem...thanks!

Do I have to re-upload my images?. Most of them are still being displayed as thumbs in my posts.

Yeah all my medium-sized pics are still showing up as thumbnails get it fixed A.S.A.P!

Hey pimp.......there's a couple of things I think we'd ALL like to know......number
1 is how much longer before you get those new servers you talked about installed
and working, and 2.......when you DO get those fixed up......will all our pictures that
are posted, revert back to the way they were instead of thumbnail size, or will we
have to manually repair every single one of these ourselves? An honest answer to
both would be very much appreciated.

Hello Pimp, I have uploaded all my pics elsewhere, but I'm waiting to switchover in hopes you are going to get this corrected when you complete the upgrade. Nothing has changed for me, still seeing just thumbs....nothing else...good luck...thanks!

I haven't been able to upload since last week. I'm guessing that's because of these new improvements. Anyone else having this problem??? I wasn't having any problems before.:mad:
