Thank you for your feedback NJhard, for now we will work with "Crypto" payments as it is easier to implement at this point.

in the future we might implement more payment methods.

I also like the idea of larger file sizes, especially for gifs - the quality will definitely improve!

Very cool! I'm fine with the free plan for now but now I have the option to upgrade if need be.

how about current uploads? for example accounts for 10+ years of uploading inside probably have bigger than 1 GB. Do they have to pay or you will remove the files?

Your current uploads remain untouched. Files already in your account won’t be removed. Moving forward, any new uploads that exceed the free storage limit will require a premium upgrade, in order to use the account as usual.

I wouldn't be averse to buying a premium account. However, since crypto is too risky for me, I will probably have to limit my activities here in the future.

We will find out solution for everyone, do not worry, for our old-school users we might have some custom solutions.

Your old images do count, we do not remove them but they are above the limit, for example your account now is at 9.34GB.

How do I find out how much account space I am currently using?

When you enter your account, on albums tab there is (i) information icon, hover it with your mouse and you will see:

Hey SJ, Your uploads are still working as usual during our "grace period", so nothing will be deleted or removed. After this period, to continue uploading new content under the new limits, you can choose the plan that fits your needs best. If you upgrade, you'll enjoy all the perks of a premium account while keeping everything you already have. We appreciate your understanding as we transition and are here to help if you have any questions!

OK - So what happens if I want to stay on the Free Plan?

If you are above your limit, the account is there but you will not be able to load more images since its above the "free" limit that comes with 1GB only.

It looks like my posts only go back two years and the rest are gone? If not, how to access them? This is just a hobby for me so not the right platform I can participate in going forward.

We did not change or delete anything ever, there is simply a limit of showing visibly 1000 albums, just change the sorting to oldest modified and you will see albums from year 2019, check this Link

Can we assume, to stay under the limit of our plan, that we can delete our older albums clearing up space to add new ones? I assume that is what many have done seeing that there are many accounts with thousands of ranking points and zero or little content.

As long as you are within the "Free Plan" limits nothing changes, you can keep using the site as is, no problem at all.

i have posted over all the years thousends of " pimpandhost Links" (3GB+ pictures) in forums around the world. every picture was/is free advertising for your pimpandhost website.

now its impossible for me paying 8.33 every month.

are you plan a free "status quo" plan for file & picture sharing "workers" in to the future?

maybe the viewer/visitors should buy premium plans

Interesting - paid accounts get no timed delay for display of content. Not a bad idea. Kind of like those download servers where the premium accounts get the higher download speeds.
