IMHO....Posts have gotten a little out of control.....
 

I am thinking that it might a useful idea to limit how many Post a person can make in a time period over on the other side.

WIthin the last day, one person made 21 Post in just a little over two hours.
I know I might have the same accusation thrown at me (I have made many Post, but I do try to spread the Post out though).

It's just getting a little bogged-down over there...(imho)....

nah its not spam at all, but I get the idea , some people post like 20 posts/hour, pushing all other posts way down and not letting them get enough attention.

maybe we indeed need to limit "x" posts per hour per use, and then automatically release them each hour instead of pushing batches as user finishes.

Maybe a "daily" number of Posts would encourage people to space Posts out throughout a 24-hour period....(?)
I'm sure I would drive people away with rapid-fire Posts of my "Jump Cuts", "Spin", and "Wink" Posts...LOL....

Like I mentioned, I'm probably also a little too free with the Posts too.
I'm sure I'm on quite a few people's "Blocked" list because of my re-occuring themed Posts...!

My Albums do seem to have a positive response with view counts being in the thousands....so, maybe I should focus more on that...:o

I like a busy site with lots of GOOD quality social chatter, new content regularly, and interaction!!! It's the 'So and So is a slut, horribly photoshopped face on a totally incompatible body, ridiculously photoshopped dick hanging into the picture, zero response intended, purely degradation posts...' that are stupid and will earn you an immediate spot on my block list.


PS: I think I'm right around four pages long on my 'blocked' list and you still haven't made it 🤣

This is a very good question. I would suggest 5 posts per day.

It might be difficult to administer....but, maybe....tie it to participation on other parts of the site....(?)
More voting, more Posts.... More comments, more Posts.... More albums, more Posts...

Or....tie it to the number of months you've been an active member....
1 month--1 post.... 12 months--12 posts....(max 12 ?)
It could encourage people staying here and participating....

And gives us something to do to keep busy, while waiting for our Posts to increase....

I agree with Slowhand69's motion; 5 posts per day seems reasonable and fair. I also agree with Amateursexkitty that we want a lively and engaging site while having some "not too restrictive" guard rails in place so we aren't overcome by spam in its truest sense.

I Think our rules are super fair, as long as you do not break them there should be zero problem.

I don't know about 5 posts per day, imho can be more, but can be restricted to hourly say "2-3" posts or so, then the same person wont spam 20 posts a hour, pushing the whole feed way way down.

Well, there's always the anti-flood system, where people would have to wait n number of minutes (or hours) before they can make a new topic/post...

Also an idea, we have this implemented in the chat, might be a good idea for posts section also.

I don't suggest a limit on fire posts. I post on other boards and can easily drop 100 posts of this caliber in several threads. It's respective to the great quantity of content at hand and ability to post it all. For example.

You have made every point supporting the need to limit posts. Scrolling thru a 100 posts of that caliber and I'd be getting the hubby to pull out the old AOL cd's!!

5 posts a day would encourage creativity, new content, and (hopefully) minimize re-posters and those that post/take it down/re-post/take it down/re-post.

Today, a guy did 19 separate posts in less than 2 hours.
