malware attached to links
 

I copied a link from my photo albums here and sent to a few friends. one got a phishing pop-up when they clicked the link and had Norton block it as malware attack on his computer. I share with them on a regular basis for over a year and this was the first time that happened. Any other reports of this or a fix in the works?

We never allowed/pushed any malware, might be coming from some ad company, but in order to track it we need to know links of the ad they got? or what banner did they click on?

can you please get more information so we can resolve it asap?

Did you click on any of the banners? if so can you please specify which?

No banners were clicked, only the links.

Also, just tried to click on an image in one of my albums and received this pop-up. It is asking my to install software to update firefox but it is not a firefox website.

When I click on the photo I just uploaded it takes me directly to the same screen with this url:

I've checked other websites and opened photos and have not received any pop-ups

This is very strange, as we have no complaints from no one at all, so i tend to believe maybe your computer has some malware on it, and it randomly pops on our site. since if it was a global scenario it would been now filled with complaints from people. we checked our codes many times and we did not add nothing that is even suspicious.

Try to run some antimalware on your pc just for testing purposes.

P.S: the guys who do get the malware where are you from? maybe they target specific countries?

Check my other post, because this happens with ANY picture that is on Pimapandhost, even my pics. If you an ADM then you should be able to get to any of my folders and from there simply click on one of the images I uploaded and what I said will happen.

I tried, it doesn't come up to for me, can you please create a small video from the second you click on link from the forum to the point you get the malware? we need to understand why and where from you get it, since we did not manage to recreate it. you can PM me the link to video.

I have made a video for you, it is only about 37Mb. I use Keep2share, Fileboom, FileFox, FileJoker and I can possibly upload to Depositfiles or RapidGator.

It happened to me again today. When I click on an album I get the following pop up:

I am able to back click out but the same window comes up when I select a photo. After several tries of back clicking, this window comes up:

After I close your website and reopen, it stops happening. I open many websites and open photos on different sites and this does not happen anywhere else for me.

yeppers sweetnslow22, that first image happens to me a lot and in fact just clicking to see it on your post here, it happened to me again. :(

I am new to the site, and trying to be a good community member I have tried to duplicate the problem - I have followed the links and steps etc...I am getting NO pop ups and NO redirects from pimpandhost.com, FYI. I hope the data is any help.

Thanks so much, but this is weird, when 3 members report same issue, this means it exists, so we need to try and figure out how are we getting it and what ad network is IN charge of this.

The file is just too big for sending through email, I've done several and the smallest is around 10Mb. :(

It's going to have to be on one of the file hosts,
Keep2share, FileJoker, FileBoom., FileFox or possibly Depositfiles or RapidGator.

P.S. - The video's are in avi format, I will see if I can record it as MKV or edit it to mkv as that is a smaller file size.

I could only record in avi or Mp4. Those are the ONLY two video formats that it would record in.

I did find in the settings to show the mouse courser which is not shown in the video, because by default the mouse courser is removed. But I will tell you the only thing I did was click on a pimp and host image then let it go and it automagically went to the secondary site after showing the pimpandhost picture for just a second.

Guys we removed 1 ad company who could of pull that stunt, can you report if now all is clean or if you are still getting malware?
