Your current uploads remain untouched. Files already in your account won’t be removed. Moving forward, any new uploads that exceed the free storage limit will require a premium upgrade, in order to use the account as usual.

Hey SJ, Your uploads are still working as usual during our "grace period", so nothing will be deleted or removed. After this period, to continue uploading new content under the new limits, you can choose the plan that fits your needs best. If you upgrade, you'll enjoy all the perks of a premium account while keeping everything you already have. We appreciate your understanding as we transition and are here to help if you have any questions!

If you are above your limit, the account is there but you will not be able to load more images since its above the "free" limit that comes with 1GB only.

We did not change or delete anything ever, there is simply a limit of showing visibly 1000 albums, just change the sorting to oldest modified and you will see albums from year 2019, check this Link (https://pimpandhost.com/album/user/187135?page=9&per-page=64&sort=createTime)

I am not sure what many are doing but yes as long as you are under free limit, then no problem. you can keep using the site as is.

Interesting - paid accounts get no timed delay for display of content. Not a bad idea. Kind of like those download servers where the premium accounts get the higher download speeds.

Sadly currently the views does not cover nearly enough, else we would never do this as we did not do it for almost 2 decades, it is not an easy move for us also, and as I explained before , we are not some big deep pockets organization, so sadly we need those funds to cover the servers and the developers who make this site into what it is, no one plans to buy yachts here, all we do is so you guys can keep using the site as it is.

This is what premium does :) Once you get ANY premium plan you will have no delays and you will see no ads. but maybe indeed its a good spot to also show an ad.

We are not looking to hurt anyone, all we want is to be able to keep the site fast and running, those prices came after much thinking and testing, and users mean the world to us, you look at it like 100/year but essentially its 27 cents a day :) with 20% off for yearly package. or 8$/month, we did make the prices to be really affordable for everyone, and while we could be 100% free that was always the case, you for example is a user of P&H since 2017, so you must know how dedicated we are to our community and we do our best to always keep everyone happy.

I Clearly understand my friend, and I wish we had other solutions, it took us 20 years to get to this point, we held the fort for as long as we could, trust me once we come up with smarter ways we will do all in our power to make sure we do the best and if we can lower anything it will be lowered, as I said, money was never the issue here, it was all done from pure heart and the love of what we created, profits were never a priority at P&H, all money we ever made was spent back on the site and keeping it fast and flawless, even at losing time all was covered from our own pockets, so you can trust me on this that our community happiness is our #1 priority and always has been. but this is our baby, we love it as you guys are, and difficult times demand certain adjustments and this is one of them, and I think after 20 years together, this is the time we as community need to support each other and do what is best even when times are bit tougher.

But this has become policy now, dus to these changes? If so, I don't think I will be hanging arouynd anymore. I understand things cant stay the same, serverspace, costs and all, but even to be limited on my own page, I think for me that would a bridge too far.

I had no problem whatsover. Just with the very first click on a pic I needed to wait some moments and then I had that hour of free clicking on pics.
It is not just my own pics, on every other pic. Whenever the queue is finished and I click again to see the larger version, I always get queued again.
