Every time I click on a new page or photo it pops up. Is this really necessary?

Maybe its the way I do things, I don't know. I always see "screenshots" empty, yet I've made more than a half dozen. Is it me? Second, how does one make a watermark, the first step seems to stop me, something about uploading an image? I guess this is all for now, otherwise, no problems:)
